Snowboarding in Whistler

Whistler Blackcomb is one of the most iconic snowboard destinations in North America, offering world-class riding across two legendary mountains. With 8,171 acres of terrain, more than 200 trails, and endless views, it’s a place where every run feels like an opportunity to explore something new.

From gentle green runs to steep chutes and gladed terrain, Whistler Blackcomb has something for every level of rider. Beginners can build confidence on wide, approachable slopes, while more advanced snowboarders can head straight for challenging lines and deep powder.

The mountain also delivers plenty of variety for freestyle riders. Each mountain features terrain parks designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders, complete with jumps, rails, and features that make it easy to progress and practice new tricks. Both mountains also offer half-pipes, and Blackcomb includes a boardercross course for riders looking for an extra challenge.

Lessons and Skills Clinics

New to snowboarding? Whistler Blackcomb offers lessons that make it easy to get started the right way. Choose from private or group instruction, with options ranging from a couple of hours to multi-day programs based on your goals and experience level.

More advanced riders can take part in freeride and freestyle skills clinics designed to sharpen technique and expand riding style. With certified instructors, women-only programs, expert-level camps, and kids’ lessons for ages 3 months to 18 years, there’s something for every rider in the family.
