TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival
Celebrate 10 days of sports, music andfreeskiing during the TELUS World Ski & SnowboardFestival. The Vancouver Sun calls this festival a “blastof rock and awe,” with days full of eye-popping freeskiing eventsand après-ski action.
Held annually in April, the festival features pro-ski andsnowboard competitions, free daily concerts, film screening,photography viewings, family activities plus plenty of skiing andriding. Visit the Demo Park to try out the newest ski and snowboardmodels.
At night the atmosphere heats up with the Kokanee Freeride, ashowcase of Canadian musical talent. Free and ticketed events takeplace on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, throughout WhistlerVillage as well as in various other venues.
