Singer, songwriter, award winner, producer, activitstand Canadian Icon Tom Cochrane (image right) is known forhis music and beyond. Tom’s hits include “Life Is a Highway”,”Lunatic Fringe”, “Human Race” and “I Wish You Well”. Tom will beplaying Whistler with Red Rider, his long-time band.

Whistler’s own The Hairfarmers will be theopening act starting at 7 p.m. The Hairfarmers are a long-timelocal favourite well know for their numerous performances at thelegendary Dusty’s Bar & Grill.

Ho, ho  ho!Santa Claus will be visiting the Whistler Holiday Experiencebetween 1pm and 5pm today.  The kids will love this freeindoor family fun zone located in the Whistler ConferenceCentre.

The zone is open every day during the holidays from Dec16-Jan 2 except for Christmas Day and New Years Eve. Activities include bouncy castles, crafts, a mini putt course, airhockey, fooseball and video games.
